Our team

We have a team of qualified and highly experienced teachers who aim to put students at ease through a creative and friendly approach to teaching. Our methodology is designed to enable students to learn to communicate in everyday situations. Our students are our priority and our teaching is tailored to their needs.

María Gracia. Director and teacher

I was born in Argentina but have lived in Spain for many years. I studied philology and bilingual teaching (English and Spanish). I’ve worked as a Spanish teacher for many years, since 1993 to be exact, and I’m the Director of Hola Spanish Courses. I’ve been surrounded by languages ever since I was very little and I love meeting people from other countries. That’s why I like working at Hola, where the world comes through our door.

Yolanda. Teacher

I was born in Barcelona but have lived near Sitges for many years. I started teaching Spanish straight after completing my degree in Spanish philology. Twenty years later, I have to say that I feel lucky to be working in something I love: teaching. In my opinion, teaching is not just about explaining a language; it also involves sharing lifestyles and values, and makes us appreciate the cultural richness of our planet.

Laura. Teacher

I was born in Sant Pere de Ribes, a small village close to Sitges. After some years working in Business Administration, I decided to do what I have always liked since I was a little girl: teaching. I completed my training in Spanish as a foreign language and then I worked for different schools and I acquired an extensive experience. Now I am working at ¡Hola!. I love to feel how my lessons are a place for exchange and expression.

Jara. Teacher

I was born in Oviedo, a city in northwestern Spain. Now I live in Vilanova i la Geltrú. I studied Philosophy.
I love reading and swimming, and also playing basketball. I lived for 9 years in London where I worked as a Spanish teacher in many international companies and also in schools with children of all ages.

Cristina. Teacher
Hello! I am from Barcelona and a humanist by vocation, but I am also in love with knowledge of the language and other cultures. I have been lucky enough to be able to travel and work abroad teaching my language and culture, and I decided to study the Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language to dedicate myself to what I like.
Now I am delighted to be able to teach Spanish here, to continue meeting people from other backgrounds and to learn from them. I’ll see you in class!
